We welcome all parishioners, friends, family, and neighbors to join us for the celebration of our parish's 40th anniversary of its founding.
This will be a two-day celebration beginning on Saturday, September 11, 2010. A tentative schedule has been determined:
Saturday, September 11
Church bells to be rung at the times most significant to the events on 9/11/01:
8:46 am – Flight #11 strikes North Tower of WTC
9:02 am – Flight #175 strikes South Tower of WTC
9:37 am – Flight #77 strikes Pentagon
9:59 am – South Tower of WTC falls
10:03 am Flight #93 crashes in Shanksville PA.
10:28 am – North Tower of WTC falls
10:00am Bloodmobile to be on-site for a blood drive (until 4:00pm)
10:30am Memorial Service for 9/11 victims and departed parishioners
12 noon Hotdogs and refreshments served (until 2:30pm)
12 noon Church Open House - tours, speakers, presentations (until 4:00pm)
1:00pm Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the 40th Parish Anniversary
5:00pm Vespers
6:00pm Wine and cheese reception

9:15am Greeting of Bishop Michael
10:00am Hierarchical Divine Liturgy
12:00pm Parish Photo with Bishop Michael
12:30pm Luncheon in the Parish Hall
3:00pm Concert by the Spirit of Orthodoxy Choir
